Description of Event

The Adirondack Adventure Festival is a celebration of a new season of activities and outdoor adventures available throughout the Gore Mountain region.  Many people visit the area for the great skiing all winter long but never realize all the other activities they can enjoy in this incredible area of the Adirondacks.

How this event is Distinctive and Authentic to the Character of Lakes to Locks Region

The festival spotlights sports and recreation that are enjoyed by visitors and residents of the area.

One of the events will be white water rafting on the Hudson River, which is a very spefic event to the Adirondacks.

It will also take place during the annual White Water Derby,that has been taking place in North Creek for many years.
