Enjoy the Classic Tour...

Begin by enjoying a casual stroll along the rim of the chasm while enjoying popular sights such as Rainbow Falls and Elephant's Head.  Following the rim walk is a gradual descent into the chasm to walk along the legendary Ausable River on the famous Inner Sanctum trail.  After the one-mile walk guests board one of the custom rafts and float through the Grand Flume, past the Broken Needle and around the Whirlpool basin while knowledgable guides discuss the geology and history of the chasm.  To conclude the tour, guests can hop board the trolley for a quick return to the welcome center or further enjoy the chasm views via a walk back via the rim trail.
