The Clifton Park Summer Performing Arts Series is held at our outdoor stage located on Clifton Common off of Vischer Ferry Road in Clifton Park, NY.  There are free performances throughout the summer on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.  There is a serene grassy field in front of the stage where visitors can set up lawn chairs to enjoy a local concert or play.  There is also a concrete pad in front of the stage that can serve as a dance floor.

Capacity And Seating Type (Stadium, Folding Chair, Balcony)

The grass field can hold up to 5,000 people.  Visitors should bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

Describe Performances And Events

Throughout the summer, come and enjoy free concerts and plays under the stars!  Shows usually start at 7pm.  Concerts showcase a variety of music genres including Irish, zydeco, swing, big band, folk, rhythm and blues, country, indie and crowd-pleasing dance bands.  Children's shows include magicians, bands, puppet shows, storytellers and more.  The Clifton Common stage is also the summer home for the Clifton Park Community Chorus and Not So Common Players.

The Town of Clifton Park owns and manages Clifton Common.  The Office of Parks, Recreation and Community Affairs oversees the Performing Arts schedule.
