Depot Theatre
Live professional theatre persenting fully stage productions during the summer and early fall. Performances take place in the original freight room of a restored 1876 Delaware and Hudson train station. Fully restored lobby and ticket office, with daily AMTRAK service to New York and Montreal.
Seats 136 in theatre. Lobby capacity is 50, and includes receptions and art gallery, as well as year-round playreadings. Theatre seating is raked with comfortable, reclining theatre chairs. Lobby seating includes original waiting room wooden benches as well as temporary seating when necessary.
The Depot Theatre offers 65-75 professional performances of up to nine different productions June through October including plays, musicals, and one-night cabarets, monologues, etc. Different movie programs are offered from time to time. Year-round gallery activities include receptions and display of local and regional art. A play reading series is offered on select Sunday nights from October through May.

The Depot Theatre, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit professional theatre company with a volunteer board of directors. The day-to-day management is provided by an executive team of Artistic Director and Managing Director who oversee their respective areas of production and management. Plays are produced by professional theatre practitioners and artists.
