Volunteers and friends of the Park have come together to build this very special place and organization. There are many ongoing projects that call for a wide range of ages and skill sets from physical, working outside around the park, to administrative for fund raising and marketing.

Major Projects in Progress
Sensory Trail: volunteers and a professional design team will enhance the Park’s River Walk Sensory Trail with accessible stations that can be enjoyed by all.
Dix Bridge Rebirth:this historic bridge, once slated for demolition, will be restored to serve as the local Hudson River recreational crossing for the New York State Canalway Trail, linking pedestrian, bicycle, and snowmobile trails of Saratoga and Washington Counties.
Proposed Environmental Education Center and Great Hall: this complex will provide classrooms for hands-on experiments, interactive exhibits, and laboratories for innovative eco-research, as well as conference and reception space. The facility will be designed to showcase sustainable practices and will be a model of environmental stewardship.
Special Skills That May Be Required Or Helpful
Park projects require many different kinds of skills from physical, when holes need to be dug to computer support for keeping track of things.
Participation can be based on your availablity depending on the project.
