Hudson Crossing Park

Hudson Crossing Park is a bi-county educational park centered on and around Champlain Canal Lock 5 Island.  Free and open to the public year-round, the park offer access to the Hudson River and the Champlain Canal, a floating dock, trails, picnic area, points of historical and geological significance, and the Hudson Crossing Park Play Garden.  An Environmental Education Center is in the future.

Much of the success of HCP may be attributed to years of diligent work put forth by dedicated volunteers and to elected officials and employees of our local municipalities who have constantly demonstrated their support.

Our mission is to tie environmental responsibility to economic revitalization and to engage people of all ages  in making informed choices for a sustainable future.
