Lock C-7
Lock C-7 marks the end of the mighty Hudson River and beginning of the calm artificial channel towards Whitehall. The lock is located 7 miles north of Lock C-6 and just south of the Fort Edward Yacht Basin (the free terminal wall). The lock lifts boat ten feet, from 119 feet to 129 feet above sea level.

TOLLS, PASSES & PERMITS
All motorized recreational vessels passing through any lock or lift bridge on the Canal System must purchase either a Seasonal Pass, a Ten-Day Pass or a Two-Day Pass.
