Built in 1920, this Victorian Farmhouse sits on a knoll overlooking the Pharaoh Wilderness Area. The grand front porch recalls a by-gone era of relaxation and social interaction of guests. Rumor has it that at one time Dutch Shultze stayed here during Prohibition. Because of the central location, Schroon Lake is an excellent base camp for exploring much of the Adirondacks and the Inn is located with easy access to the north/south 87 Northway and the east/west US Rte 74.
The Innkeepers happily provide maps and planning tips to maximize your time in the Adirondacks as well as making restaurant reservations and supplying coupons when available.
