Sher Millis, founder and director, was introduced to the art world by her step-father James D. Coleman, a west coast professional artist in 1979. When she retired from the business world in 1996, her husband relocated to his native home in Corinth. Her love of art and children started the orignal Studio Store on Main in 2005. An avid outdoors woman, the Adrirondack landscape gives her creative inspiration and her 13 year old daughter has become her "muse." Sher believes that everyone has a creative spark, and she uses the landscape to inspire her artwork and the local community, from which many students have come. Her studio and community works are an essential part to the beautification and revitalization of downtown Corinth.
